Biography

Hal was born in the county Kent on the first day of 1968. A family move to Sheffield some ten years later prompted his first major musical influence in the form of a church choir. A few years later following another family move back down south Hal started to play double bass. At eighteen he was singing for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and playing double bass in the Oxford youth orchestra. After a three year course at Guildford School of Acting Hal became a professional actor in the world of Musical Theatre. His West End credits are numerous including Alex in Aspects of Love, Billy Bigelow in Carousel, Javert in Les Miserables, Arnaud du Thil in Martin Guerre and Cousin Kevin in Tommy where he met his wife, Kim Wilde. He recently play the Ugly sister in "Cinderella" at the Old Vic Theatre in London till 20th January 2008.
